We're stoked to be hosting a dinner with Fords Gin, in collaboration with Vanguard Luxury Brands, the dinner will be presented by industry legends Simon Ford, co-founder of The 86 Co, and legendary gin master Charles Maxwell of Thames Distillers.

Join us at for an intimate evening of fine gin and fine fare, as we put on a five course spread paired with innovative concoctions all starring Ford's Gin.

The dinner will begin with a tasting session and introduction to the Gin and story behind the brand, followed by five courses highlighting components of the classically oriented botanical bill of Ford's, each paired with a cocktail exploring those key botanicals.

Simon Ford is the co-founder and president of The 86 Company, a spirits company dedicated to creating brands designed in unison with professional bartenders, which includes, of course, Ford's Gin, as well as Cana Brava Rum, Tequila Cabeza, Aylesbury Duck Vodka. Simon is a leading voice of the global cocktail and bar industry, he is regularly invited to lead education sessions, judge global competitions, and deliver seminars at international conferences such as the NY Food & Wine Festival, Sydney Bar Show, and London Cocktail week.

Because of his engaging easygoing manner and casual humour it’s little surprise that Ford has earned the respect of thousands of bartenders he’s met and worked with globally throughout the years.

Chris Maxwell was born into a family which has an unbroken connection with gin distilling in London since the late 17th century, when his 8th Great Grandfather was apprenticed to a member of the Worshipful Co of Distillers in the City of London, of which Charles was elected Master in 2008, as well as Director of the Gin Guild, and for the last 20 years has been at the helm of Thames Distillers in London. It will be a real treat to experience the wealth of knowledge and experience Charles has to offer on the topic of Gin.
