When planning our little micro wedding/ City Hall elopement, Henry Home was top of my list for the reception. I've visited Henry Sugar so many times over the years, and it was the perfect place to create a special moment for our guests. The ease of booking a private dinner and then staying over meant there was no rush for guests to move venues or be kicked out early, and we could relax and spend time with our loved ones. The food at Henry Sugar is always sublime, we were blown away by the blood orange leek! Options like doing BYO, meant we could bring our favourite champagne, and we were able to customise the menu to include our favourites like the vegemite focaccia and creme brulee. Mike and Dan went over and above to create a special night for us and we couldn't be more thankful.

If you're researching where to get dinner after your Registry Wedding and you're finding out that it's more than a few thousand for a 2h spot in the CBD and then you have to factor travel and pay for a hotel room, that sounds stressful and lame. This was genuine, easy, customisable, gentle and cosy for our guests and we could kick our shoes off and be safe and happy from the moment we walked in.

· BYO or opt for our Exclusive Drinks package, including Cocktail or Champagne on arrival followed by 4 hour drinks package including premium wine pairing with dinner for $150pp. For additional guests (more then 6) we charge $240 pp for the menu.

After dinner, you’re welcome to party on into the night — as long as the front doors stay closed, the space is yours to enjoy with no noise problems.
Minimum spend: $5,000 for 10 guests - after that $160 pp up to 25 guests
Package price for 25 guests: $7,400
